About KATA Fund

The Karate-Ka Advanced Training Association Fund (KATA Fund) is a 501c3 organization that was formed in 2010 by a group of like-minded individuals who understand the benefits that traditional karate can offer and endeavor to support all individuals committed to a deep study of the art. Karate training can be cost prohibitive for many, however, and the KATA Fund is dedicated to enhancing individual development through providing financial support to those in need.

Karate-Ka Advanced Training Association Fund is a 501c3 dedicated to furthering individual excellence through providing financial support for the practice and cultivation of traditional Karate-Do principles.

KATA Fund Mission Statement

The Karate-Ka Advanced Training Association Fund (KATA Fund) is a 501c3 organization that was formed exclusively in support of the charitable, cultural, and educational activities of the Washington Karate Ballard Dojo*. The KATA Fund is dedicated to promoting public cultural awareness through the cultivation of Karate-Do principles as taught within the traditional Japanese art of Shito-ryu karate. The KATA Fund will raise funds and provide financial assistance to individuals committed to learning Karate Do and mastering the art of karate through fostering national and international amateur competition in the sport of karate and enabling participation in karate clinics, tests, camps, and seminars.
